Stud Bolt vs Threaded Rod: 
The size of the bolt is key to distinguishing between threaded rod and stud: anything under a foot in length is considered a stud, while those over 12 inches are categorized as threaded rods. Consequently, if the product measures greater than or equal to 12 inches long, it should be labeled as a threaded rod.

4. Hollow-Inside Threaded Rods are commonly used in lighting applications to provide an empty space where wires and cables can pass through with ease.
